Me Painting Me, acrylic on canvas, 40 x 60, is housed in the permanent collection of the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.  The theme of the painting is actually a dream about the extension of time. The palette and brushes in the foreground are not meant to be a part of the image.  They are, in my vision, outside of it, and they cast a shadow onto the work.  The meaning here offers up the possibility that at some time in the future, I will pick up a brush and continue working on it.
